Fradi.Terminated.Crap

I think I'll have my version of black thursday

damn the Hungarian authorities.
damn those idiots who sent them to hell
well...we forgot,damn the club management
the damned fans who got damned
and they spoke the damned truth
that if it were the damned end of Fradi
it will also be the end of you

during better times

it's a beautiful club.unfortunately what an end it was...you won't want to believe it
-Around the 1990s, the club had problems with its unruly fans expressing nationalistic and anti-Semitic sentiments.
-At present Ferencváros is going through a moral crisis, which has brought on a financial crisis as well. The team has lost its marketing value due to the continuous scandals surrounding it.

now...damn

On 25 July 2006 the biggest cscandal yet in living memory of Hungarian football hit Ferencváros. The 28-time Hungarian champion was excluded from the Hungarian National Premier League and demoted to the second division after a long debate at the Hungarian Football Federation's (MLSz) classification licensing committee. The club had failed to meet financial and other requirements. After the announcement hundreds of furious "Fradi" fans, fueled by pro-Ferencváros hooligans, heeded the call of the FTC Supporter’ Association and gathered in front the stadion and clubhouse on Ulloi ut in Budapest’s District 9. Most demonstrators blamed the greedy and content management for growning fat doing nothing at the club. Some fans even stormed into the clubhouse, while hooligans had a field day vandalized the nearby underground station. Legendary and current team members also blamed the irresponsible financial management for letting Hungary's most famous club go down the drain, despite having scooped up more than half a billion Hungarian Forint (based on the Hungarian national bank on July 28, $1=HUF 213.50/EUR1=HUF 270)when it was worth far more than today for becoming the first (and to this day the only) Magyar football club qualifying to the group stage of the UEFA Champions League. Ferencváros captain Peter Lipcsei, Florian Albert - Hungary’s only ‘FIFA World Cup Golden Shoe’ award (1962) and ‘European Footballer of the Year’ award (with Ferencváros in 1967) - blamed the two last presidents Janos Furulyas and Miklos Inancsy for the catastrophe, adding that for the past five years neither had been capable of using their wide professional and political influence to find a charismatic investor to keep the club on its feet. All is uncertain about Ferencváros except that in the first time in the club's 107-year existence it will start the next season in the Hungarian second division

badass luck

I think i'm going to complain to SMaRT about their 853.I was waiting 20 mins for a bus with non-existent air con while 4 to 6 853s whizzed past opposite side, all with damn cold aircons.and I think I'm going to complain about the emergency exercise too.it make us think the authorities were crying wolf before they announced it was the canteen that was in the 'inferno'.corny la

no wait...that wasn't quite your ok start, but then at least there was a passable end at DXO.you put the guitar guys and eternaloop inside, with bands previously unknown and light ciggy smoke wafting thru...yeah just as you didn't expect some of our supposed mugs showed up at the club.it's not as home as zouk, but with cheap drinks and convenient location, who can't get swooned?

yay I'm selected to represent AJC in the ASEAN quiz...but then with a hell lot of stuff to look for,it's quite once in a lifetime to actually imagine yourself in a Singapore blazer and blazing your way through.and apparently there's no more ordering of fries on the walkie talkie since all of us hell knew that the conversations are bugged.which is a good thing.we just don't have the chance to go crap, which makes the job easier

I don't know, but what the world has come to now...I don't know if I've lost all the drive, just like most of us who has been reduced to a long hard grind with all the stuff.somehow when the J2s leave they can't put it down cuz all their memories have been ingrained in whatever legacy they ever had.and so with large enough boots to fill the J1s can't leave cuz they can't put anything aside.what turned out to be a blessing quickly turn sour for many people...I know,I feel the same

just that they have some insane shit coming up,TJ had 3 out of 4 J1s failing their stuff.back on our turf, someone actually had the temerity to score 0.5 out of 100 for maths...and it never fails to remind me that it was one of my best pals who did such a silly thing.if the insanity still holds,it just seems that the only happy ones is...no one

sadly,it looks like some of our dragons aren't fulfilling the potential of the potentially excellent 1988 vintage.maybe they dumbed down in the bottle.maybe it wasn't a nice bottle at all.maybe it's cork taint.or maybe they just needed a bit more time to shine through.I can't expect every bottle to be Mouton or Yquem,so I think it'd better be caveat emptor.

bloody hell

you think seeing blood makes you scream?well.just see what happens when miss plasma goes around and encourages everyone to donate blood.you think seeing such a long queue at the blood bank makes you go ahhh...wait till you endure 2h inside the reading room.not so painful as expected, but after a blood bag has been accounted for,I fainted twice!1st one...blacked out and second one...so tipsy...and so wasted, but just why the J2s and some1s went to the blood bank,we will never know

lol I think I can be counted as a aspiring nutmeg king.imagine Mark Lam getting unexpectedly busted by a face-2-face tackle and another monkey getting his defending all wrong as they got hit by the marbles.

recently Singapore idol has been refined and it gives more excitement, but i'm not so much going to swear any allegiances yet, although my sis as always skipps her allegiance all the time, just hope she doesn't fall for Paul Twohill one day,and then ditch him for another guy the next.but then...here's the quirky thing about the 3+1 judges

Dick Lee:all his comments bash the contestant.not much constructive comments
Flor Lian:all her comments sound as if a groupie was judging
Jacintha:her comments are more or less superfluous.just to glam herself up...and maybe add to her glam resume
Ken Lim:Happy to say,he's the best judge so far.he speaks the truth most of the time.not as brutal as Simon Cowell, but honest after all

just to end this...would you believe Bush said sh*t to Blair?well they got bugged on G8 and they don't even need bugs crawling around St Petersburg before this funny fiasco spreads around the world

under heavy artillery fire

common test blues:many got felled at commons.me included...and not just passes please.in fact just now econs I'd heard that the increasingly insolent J1s are comparing results even as only 15% managed any kind of pass,as Magda said.idiots...they have 14233982 excuses for failing and no tangible admission of guilt...they'd better have Ms Leong knock some sense into them before they turn out just as appalling as what I'd think of next year's J1s

Hattrick blues:haiz I think I know how it feels like to go 24h w/o any hattrick when their server's down...from Wednesday 2am! =(

Thursday 1155 HT Time(Our time,1755)

The background for the current Hattrick downtime is that over the past week, we have been migrating the site to a new storage solution very similar to our previous one, but with a lot more space for Hattrick to grow in. This move triggered some performance problems that we did not expect, and we have spent the last few days trying to fix those problems together with the storage solution provider. As a result of the decreased performance over the last few days, however, we also ran into trouble with the Hattrick databases. Basically, with the disks not working at full capacity we were not able to handle all Hattrick events as they happened and some database tables came out of synch with each other. We repaired the database during the night but there are some remaining errors that we want to address today. It is very important that the database is healthy when the game engine runs, as it may cause additional problems to open the site too early. Even when this has been sorted out, we will need to keep the site closed for several hours probably most of Thursday - as the game engine catches up and we make sure everything is working properly. Getting Hattrick back up again, and healthy, is our main priority right now. We are also working on getting the storage system working as intended, and we are sure that will be achieved eventually as well. We are so very sorry for this downtime, and we really strive to get back up again as soon as we can with out jeopardizing the game data. One reason we prefer to keep the site closed rather than having it open while we work, is because in a case like this, it is important for us to prioritize the integrity of the data; to make sure your teams, and previous game results, and transfers, and economy are safe and secure. When we open again, some of you will have missed out on things that were supposed to happen when the game was down, and we understand that it can feel terrible. But this is something we all have to be prepared can happen in Hattrick or any other real time environment. Again, sorry for this inconvenience and see you back on Hattrick in a while! .

now then...today 0730 (0130 HT Time)

The repairs are going well, but take time, since almost a terabyte of data needs to be restored. We hope to be up again on Friday afternoon. Again, we apologise for the inconvenience.

yeah right...I wish i can access right back home after school,Singapore time or Swedish hattrick time, doesn't matter

AJ just got the rare honour of being able to collaborate with AC,RJ and equal surprises CJ for a special play for SYF,and VJ TSD also have a performance.bad news is...they are all sold out~!dunno...maybe it's better to chase Electrico

West Grande-Today 9-9.30
Konkave Skream-7.30-8 Sunday
Electrico =)-8.30-9.30 Sunday

Zidane=egg head

2 WC nights in a row and still can go to school on time.remarkable.missed the first hour of the Final, but i'm convinced it was classically boring Italian clamshells anyway,so I watched all the extra time.unfortunately for most France supporters they won't have quite a night to remember about Zidane's retirement, when he became the last of the trio of Henry,Ribery and Vieira to get off the pitch,in the silliest way possible

2nd half extra time:headbutting Materazzi after he tugged at Zidane's shirt was promptly dealt with a red card.quite a miracle that the 10 on survival training managed to hold on to penalties.this time round the gaffe of the shots is Trezeguet's unfortunate crossbar bouncer,no doubt Italy would need 12 years to banish the memory of the flying dragon that gave the cup to Brazil, but they did exocrise everything with all 5 politically correct ones.

without stress, the German 3rd place seems more exciting.Kahn does have a night to remember after all,and looks good for a testimonial match with Bayern-_______(fill in team youself) after 1 or 2 seasons more.as for Schweinstieger,he's got 2 marvellous longshots,1 own goal forced from Portugal and a gold card for showing his 6-pecs just before being subbed out.there';s no fireworks for Italy as they would have to deal with Juve next and the prospect of them going to C3 sounds too bad to believe

mann i'm so well shacked that I'm going to wait for the EPL...but then i can't wait to attack my sinful tub of home made dulce de leche semi-freddo,so it's more or less mugging time

Boulevard of Broken dreams

looks like the Germans played into the honey trap the Italians set up.after drawing 0-0 in extra time, they looked set for penalties until...2 goals in the last 2 minutes.ouch.as for the vintage French,it's as if they have peaked and the Portuguese had barely any answer when Ricardo Carvalho tripped Henry and Zidane,as always fires a penalty home.most people are getting enamoured with the WC...including some who I wouldn't expect to watch football...aaahhh...wonder how they would be coping with Germany's loss

looks like rooney the playground brat gets a whole legion of supporters going against cristiano ronaldo the super silly boy.with www.ihateronaldo.com up online, check out all the satrirical pics there...you'd be amazed...

gee all the stuff on the IVLE look tricky...so I'm trying to crack...arrr

what sort of week?

actually you can have this week ignored...not when the school authorities are 'ingenous' enough to do the following

1)youth day holiday is a MOE directive.one day off
2)The only full day this time round looks like a farce.heard Magda lectured the J1s on how to behave...bunch of insolent kids...although we've some fine people, the black sheep as always act like nutcases
3)just about the only thing nerve wracking is PE.other than that 11.45 is the cue.MDS job next
4)another day off for teachers in lieu of GE duties.most people had theirs on term 2.but we just kinda credited it to the special week on Thursday, complete with interest paid
5)MOE stuff for all the staff on Friday meant that hell...no...we're off at 1.15!Inter House games occupy the rest

out of the teachers...there goes my HOD Languages for some stint at NIE.I think there would be no more PR HODs to talk to anymore.most of them are way too busy to be noticed by most of them, only know because they have to do admin stuff or they just got something stuck below their names.of the noobs...there're a few alumnus...lol it's still a 'family business' after all

with 3 or 4 games before the WC ends and the new champs league season starts...I don't know if I should wake up or not...with my tendency to sleep thru,I might as well not gamble.but then Germany is a tantalising prospect..so I think I should stock beer for the finals, which is better than vodka.I didn't know that Pooh owes some ppl 10 shots of Absolut vodka for guessing the wrong scores most of the time.oh please...dun shoot...it's not good for your health...oh well...just don't get a hangover. In fact it's not worth it to save for alcohol when I can save it for better use?maybe I'd love a PSV,AC Milan,Celtic or Real Madrid jersey...heard Pooh wants a Germany jersey but I bet it'd be passe by then, replaced by solid gold hits like these

maybe I should start perfecting my formula for corn on the bacon.it doesn't brown most of the time in the oven, swimmin' in its own fat...ugh!

Braveheart Anderson--By Grace of God

A budding filmaker has stood up at last to produce a nicely done AJ soccer video which you saw in term 2.yay

and just to add on to this special post here are the girls from Dance heating up the stage during last year's SYF.

enjoy!

Special Jack the Ripper treat

I just chanced upon this video and it seemed interesting, plus it contains the elusive 5 min footage of what actually happened that Thursday at Jalan Besar....well actually 4 according to VJ insiders but I'm not arguing. It's a fine work,so I've decided to post the video here.enjoy!

Instructions for Use

Answer these questions:

1)Are You a Victorian? Y/N
2)Are You from Meridian JC? Y/N

I answer N/N...so follow the instructions below

Y(to a smaller extent those who has been there for the 1st 3 months)/N(duh!):congrats,you may start with the whole video.have fun reminiscing your happy VJ days!

N(any other school)/N(maybe ex VS people don't apply):lol looks like the first half of the video doesn't have any much significance for you, except for you to drool at their videocam skills.start by waiting it to load(pause while it loads.it's much faster) and then press the video timer at the half way mark and Presto! You will see the greatest comeback of all time to rival Barcelona 1999 and Istanbul 2005

N/Y:Watch the second half at your own risk. The makers of the video or any other posters will NOT be responsible for any bad memories or nightmares that return to haunt you

Video Spoiler

If in case your video can't load, you might as well just refer to this spoiler and compare that to my commentary I wrote last time out.have fun once again!

Video

78:GOAL!VJ were attacking, then they were getting surrounded by a few MJ desperate defenders, but a not so slick pass from one of them found the boot of the other, who proceeded to stick the ball in from an improbable angle.
79:GOAL!another corner
80+3:GOAL!a dizzying half court solo effort worked as the down and out MJ couldn't even stop him.in fact one of the defenders collided with his own goalie as he tried to stop the guy from scoring, and the goalie could only try to keep pace before the VJ player sends the ball easily for 4-2...what a comeback!

My Version

78:GOAL!VJ pressure bore fruit as a fine run by a VJ player surrounds the goalie and left him stranded to equalise at 2-2
79:GOAL!a corner for VJ found the last man up,who jumps high to head the corner home.3-2 and the VJ crowd are more and more ecstatic,as we go into injury time
80+1:MJ 18 smacks a cross and VJ goalie adequately saves it
80+2:a carnival atmosphere at VJ's side as they start celebrating their win.cheer goes louder and louder as MJ gets awarded a freekick.MJ has this last chance left, but MJ's 35 fails to squeeze in.by then the tired MJ players couldn't do much with their corner
80+3:GOAL!VJ clears out,but not for long.VJ player gets the ball and goes on a run from half field before twirling around the helpless keeper who by then could only watch helplessly as VJ scores from a simple tap-in and make the score 4-2.By then it was all over for MJ
80+4:END With the last kick of the game,VJ wrapped up proceedings with a 4-2 comeback against MJ within 5 minutes

bastard busted

yaya just now's SYF opening ceremony seemed no different from SAF day parade, just that we have more colour uniforms...damn sio leh.i'd think sleep is better but at least Rara's kiddos does show why the DM's mace is their secret weapon to success

CTs are a drainer, with whatever weird questions thinkable and passable asked...should there be some jackass getting their asses into the abbatoir, they'd better get scared shitless by teachers before they get slain by cambridge...the joke is such that the way the slay students of their marks can be quite appalling, and they bleed in some 'unhygenic condition'--above part is a joke.i.e:a reminder to take CTs seriously

world cup is a drainer too but most boys just fall prey to the football offered.soccer babes never count into their equation, which is a good thing given that girls just look at hunks,or worse still, get bored.maybe learn a few rowdy songs and you look manly, and start on a drunken cheer...(we don't recommend drinking like a hool, though)

just that I decided to do something very silly this december,I just got word that I'm doing plan B this time.and they'd better be careful of someone who's more or less using whatever bag of tricks lawyers use for conspiracies or for winning cases.crooked lawyers especially...reading too much John Grisham might actually help you harm your legal career...i repeat...now it's a time to kill the street lawyer(by then you can fig out the 2 titles i borrowed last week)
